Overview
The entire project concept of Aquality2.0 is an improved version of Aquality1.0, which aims to create a mobile application for a water monitoring device that can be used by citizens scientists to evaluate the water quality of rivers through sensors (pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen) and an AI model that can analyze insects in the river to improve the precision of the results. The entire project makes use of IoT technologies to move data from sensors to servers for the purpose of automation, allowing consumers to securely view real-time data on their devices at any time and from any place.
The Aquality V2 Mobile App is available on Google Play Store, please scan the QR code and download the App.
Hardware
In our project, we using a hardware that build by ESP 32 Microcontroller with temperature and pH sensor to gather data in the river.
Website
We provide a website that allows the user to review all the data and record they submit.
And also allow admin to control the user and data.
Mobile App
The mobile app is used during kick sampling, it will be utilised when performing the kick sampling to improve the speed of information gathering. It has a simplistic layout that works for all personnel.
It ties all the components together such as the Hardware, AI Model and Server API.
AI Model
We provide an AI model that helps the user recognize the insect count, names and tail.

Teams CCCMI
We are team CCCMI and our group consists of five 4th-year students, studying Computing Level 8. Aquality V2.0 is our chosen 4th-year project. With this project, we challenged ourselves by implementing Hardware, Mobile Application, Website and AI Model. Using automated testing to make sure the app is build to standard. To create an enhanced version of Aquality V1.0.
