Idea Pitching

The first time, we got 9 ideas in total, and we recorded ideas by Excel form and inserted further information to each idea:

Description: the description for each idea

Technique: the programming language, database, any relative technical

Functionalities: key functions 

Target user: who will use the app or website

Advantage: existing app? any open source?

Disadvantage/Difficulties: the problems might meet

The rank of wishing to do: the results for idea patching, give the points to each idea

 We reduced the ideas for 9 to 4 based on mentors' suggestions, which are Expression analyser, Site Management System, Grober and Fish Tank water quality monitoring.

First of all, we give up the Site Management System because it no longer belongs to the external project.

Then we gave  SocialDev (original Expression analyser), Grober and Aquality 2.0 (original Fish Tank water quality monitoring) more details and further investigation on some new fields:

External: is the project an external?

Further information: any materials, useful links, or marking position 

Language Framework: what kind of frameworks can be used?

Customer requirements: any customer or end-user requirements

Function Requirements: more details on requirements which are defined by ourself after investigation

And we based on 3 ranking fields: Ranking(personal ranking), Feasibility(confidence on Feasibilities), Have a fun? ( how do you think you will enjoy the process of this project?) to recognize which tow ideas are worth to more further investigate.

SocialDev and Aquality 2.0 are won.

All of us approved the Aquality 2.0, we thought that will be more fun and it's doable within our capability. Then we concentrate on Aquality 2.0 and finally, we only have one idea now.
