In this type of situation, I believe there is nothing one can do to clear their conscience. In my opinion, the situation is quite black and white. You can either leave the place to protect your values or stay and work there. Each company has its own set of rules, and as an employee, you must follow the rules of the company where you work.

The Devil Den is an unorganized company, and as an employee, you can only do what everyone else is doing unless it is unethical. I believe it is best to simply accept that the company lacks structure, continue doing what you are supposed to do, gain the necessary experience for your resume, and leave when the time comes.
