What is "The Thinking City"

The Back of the Box Description

The Think City is a first person virtual reality game set in an abandoned, underground city of the future. After receiving a mysterious invitation to visit the city, you arrive to find it in a hollow and decrepit state, devoid of any life. With your AI companion T.R.I.S.H you must make your way through the abandoned districts, dodging killer robots and navigating an ever shifting environment in an attempt to unravel the city's secrets and uncover what fate really befell the residents of The Thinking City. 

 

The Level: Science Facility

What the team has developed is a "vertical slice" of the game, a single level set in the middle of the game to show off what we can do. In this level the player must navigate a small science facility made up of a number of rooms. The doors in this area will open and close around them, closing off some paths and opening up new ones.

The Enemy: Tainted General Service Assistant (GSA)

While navigating this environment, the player must be constantly aware of the corrupted killer robot roaming the halls. While quite dumb, this robot/monster hybrid will pursue the player relentlessly if catches sight of them. With no way to fight back against this machine your only options are to run or to hide, tracking it by it's heavy footsteps and the eerie recordings it plays from it's late creators.

The Goal: Escape!

Aside from staying alive, the players main goal is to find three key cards scattered throughout the environment which will allow them to escape, although their reprieve won't last for long...
