Singleplayer
In single-player mode, the player will be able to explore a vast lake area and push themselves in time trial mode. players will be able to see their live statistics as they row to get a more precise representation of their progress.
The player will be able to row through many routes in a vast open-world environment at their own leisure. They can row under cliffs and archways. There will be many routes that the player will be able to make use of, by use of the time trails, or just rowing at their own pace. We plan for it to be a relaxing environment for everyone who plays. If the players prefer, it can be less challenging for their relaxation or if they so wish, they can race against their own best score.
Multiplayer
In Multiplayer mode, the player will be able to compete against their friends in a live race. Multiplayer will provide competitive gameplay, pinning players against each other and encouraging personal improvement for all players involved. Online multiplayer is accessed over the internet through the phone internet connection. Players can play in races with their friends and compete for first-place.
Players compete with each other in a 500-meter sprint. This allows players to test their endurance and compare their performance with friends in real-time. This will encourage competition between both parties as well as providing a fun social aspect. Players will be able to compete in real-time using their rowing machines, all of which not having to be within close proximity or even in the same building.
Trial Challenges
In the Time trials mode, players aim to beat their previous best time around a short pre-set course. This allows the player to challenge themselves independently and give a clear sense of self-improvement.
Each track within the environment is of varied sizes, each stores your best time for completing a trial on them. Every time you chose to partake in a trial on any of the tracks you've already partaken in, you will be facing off against your best time on that particular track.
Keeping Score
Players will be able to view their live statistics on the Stat graph in the middle of the screen. This will give them real-time feedback on their performance in that moment. For many players, their performance is important and plays a key role in keeping the players motivated.
These statistics will include the player's power, as well as drag and split time.

Requirements & Setup
Goro is not an independent product, it requires a direct Bluetooth connection to a Concept 2 Rowing Machine.
Currently, GoRo is only compatible with Android, we recommend obtaining a Concept 2 Cradle which will hold your phone in place allowing you the ability to play the game without concerning yourself with the placement of the device. To get the best experience out of our product we would also recommend using wireless earphones in order to be able to hear the in-game audio over the noise of the Concept 2.
