My name is Tadas Gliadkovskis and I am responsible for 2 sections. This is my work diary for the business plan CA for the Entrepreneurship module. Company Description and section 6 Staffing the Operations part was taken on by Dennis to help match our calculations. I was also responsible on formatting the document to make everything look consistent.

9 April
I started working on the Company Description Section.
I described what Guidify is. discussed with the team how we should distribute the shares inside of our company and we agreed on splitting it 25% each and leaving the final 25% for any future investors or people that come on board.
I also listed the Advisors that we have being the group mentor assigned to us from the Collaborative Project module. Naoise Collins and how we have contacted and are attempting external collaboration with Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland
10 April
I am working on the Products and Services section for Company Description
I am explaining what Guidify is and what kinds of services we provide and talk about the Advantages we bring and the weak points of our app and what our future development plans are. I had to look into the Research and Development plan to see if there was anything to match but there wasn't at this point
April 11
I wrote our our Objectives for the company making sure to underestimate it a bit to make it more realistic.
While writing this out thought about how we might have a problem of getting content onto the application but a possible solution was to rush the AI R&D to use AI to create Travel Guides and read them out. Since the technology exists to make it sound human like however I didn't include this in the report
April 13
I finished off Section 2 making sure everything was filled out and then formatted the section to match the file.
I started thinking about what kind of people we would hire and how the structure would look like.
For now just wrote down the simple role names that we MUST have in the company like CTO, CEO, CPO, Software Engineer, HR, Marketing
14 April
I expanded the list for what kinda roles we would hire in the first 3 years.
Lead Software Engineer, Finance Manager, Customer Support Manager, Social Media Specialist, QA Manager, Security Lead.
I described all of these roles and labelled what year we would hire them.
Then I created the table saying what year we will hire the staff, what roles, their skills, and for what Focus.
16 April
Created the organisation chart with the employees I wrote down.
This was the first iteration of the organisation structure.
I came out with 5, 11, 14 for the count of employees over the first 3 years
I also wrote out role descriptions for 2 roles AI Development & Safety Research Manager and AR/VR Research Manager
however these were later scrapped as I realised the plan was to hire these roles 7 years down the line.
However we could maybe rush the AI R&D which would solve the issue of our app not having content to serve to users
Also after talking with Dennis we decided to change our share split to be 40/30/30 rather than leaving a pool of money we would dilute our shares by introducing more shares into the company when investments occur.
17 April
We then had a team meeting the day before uploading and we reviewed the staff I was planning to hire to
update them to increase efficiency and to change the roadmap of the company of going into top 10 most visited countries in Europe.
This was the upgraded chart. we removed the Lead Software engineer and go with the idea of having the CTO be involved for longer throughout the 3 years.
Also introduced the role of Site Reliability Engineer which is to maintain and help grow infrastructure.
Also the graphic designer role came in and was meshed with the social media specialist.
Then updated our employee list for the first 3 years changing the amount hired to 4, 12, 20 in the first 3 years instead.
Then I wrote out the Training Plans for our employees keeping it pretty general, using my time in my internship as the basis for it.
Most of the training is just on-boarding with the companies values, tools, and mission.
The rest of the training is being put into a team and slowly taking on small tasks and taking on
bigger tasks as the employee gets more comfortable with the whole system.
Dennis asked me to leave the Operations section to him since he was doing the figures and money being moved in our company, and he wanted to keep the figures consistent. I then went through the whole document and formatted everything to be consistent. Dennis was still working on the money section of the document so I left the rest to him to finish up and clean up.
