Proof Of Concept
Proof of concept shows the largest technical change throughout the project. Here I had to quickly come to terms with how to use the spline tool, terrain tool, and foliage tools to create a track for our game. After proof of concept there was not much learning to do but more so tweaks based on feedback, using the tools I had learned already.

The alpha shows a huge improvement from our proof of concept demo. Here we can see huge changes to the difficulty and diversity of the track. Some areas of the track have different lanes and I added more jumps and berms throughout, Another big change we can see in the alpha track is the new rock gardens which are much more difficult and include routes for in the moment decisions. The lighting in the release has changed dramatically too, through the use of directional light, sky light, static mesh light beams, sky dome and fog I built up a nice atmosphere for the level but it still needs improvement before beta.
Moving on to beta there are some improvements left for the level design and lighting in our game "All The Way Down".
I need to modify the color of the level using LUTS and other post processing techniques, to capture the right "Irish" feel.
We plan to cover the woodland sections with ferns and other ground foliage, this will help the level to look more realistic and add more diversity, it will also be used to hide seems of models and the terrain.
Proof Of Concept
The beta demonstration will be added once the release is completed.
